Support Tubes, Stainless Steel, 1/2in OD X 6in Length. These support tubes are made of brilliant polished 304 stainless steel. They have good surface hardness and do not score from clamp binding screws. Tubes are 1/2" (13mm) in diameter, and are hollow, reducing weight to 1/2 of solid stainless steel rods while maintaining all the advantages of the stainless steel. The walls are 1/16" (1.6mm) thick, strong, and do not sag. The ends of each tube are capped with polyethylene tight fitting end-caps. This multi-tier tube rack has four rows of holes arranged at four different levels. The highest row can accommodate five 30 or 50 ml centrifuge tubes in either the conical or freestanding configuration. The second row can hold eight 15 ml centrifuge tubes. The third row has ten holes for 12 x 75 mm tubes. The front row has 12 holes for microcentrifuge tubes.
